My first travel to the Caribbean. Wow it was as nice and colorful as expected!!
The Caribbean is a region located in the tropical western Atlantic Ocean, comprising the Caribbean Sea, its islands, and the surrounding coasts. The region is located southeast of the Gulf of Mexico and the North American mainland, east of Central America, and to the north of South America. The Caribbean is home to a diverse range of cultures, languages, and populations, with a rich history that has been shaped by the influences of indigenous, African, European, and Latin American cultures.
The Caribbean is known for its beautiful beaches, crystal-clear waters, and warm, tropical climate, which make it a popular tourist destination. The region is home to a wide variety of plant and animal life, and is known for its rich biodiversity. It is also an important region for trade and commerce, with a number of major ports located throughout the Caribbean. The Caribbean is made up of more than 7,000 islands, islets, reefs, and cays, which are divided into two main groups: the Greater Antilles and the Lesser Antilles. The Greater Antilles includes the large islands of Cuba, Jamaica, Hispaniola (which is home to the countries of Haiti and the Dominican Republic), and Puerto Rico. The Lesser Antilles includes the smaller islands of the eastern Caribbean, including the Virgin Islands, Leeward Islands, and Windward Islands.
