Copenhagen

Copenhagen is the capital and most populous city of Denmark. It is located on the eastern coast of the island of Zealand, with a population of around 624,000 people. The city is known for its historic buildings, cobbled streets, and picturesque canals, such as the Nyhavn, which is lined with colorful 17th- and 18th-century houses. Copenhagen is also home to many famous museums, such as the National Museum of Denmark, the Danish Museum of Art and Design, and the Thorvaldsens Museum. Other notable landmarks include the Amalienborg Palace, the residence of the Danish royal family, and the Round Tower, an 17th-century observatory with a spiral walkway to the top. The city is also famous for its biking culture, being one of the most bike-friendly cities in the world.
