Unexpected Stopover in Chicago ✈️

From Atlanta to Munich

Business travel doesn’t always go as planned — and this trip was a perfect example. On my way from Atlanta back home to Munich, bad weather caused major flight delays across the East Coast. Instead of a smooth connection, I ended up spending an unplanned stopover in Chicago.

At first, it was frustrating — long lines, missed connections, and the usual airport chaos. But once I accepted it, Chicago actually turned out to be a nice surprise. The skyline peeked through the clouds, and even a few hours on the ground reminded me how much character this city has.

Eventually, the weather cleared, and I made it onto my rescheduled flight to Munich. Not the itinerary I had in mind, but definitely one of those small travel stories that make every journey a bit more memorable.
