On our way to our favorite island, Texel, we made a stop at Wesselburenerkoog — a peaceful corner on the North Sea coast that feels wonderfully untouched. We stayed there with friends, enjoying a few slow summer days filled with wind, salt air, and the soft sound of the tide.

The flat landscape stretched endlessly toward the horizon, with sheep grazing along the dikes and the occasional sailboat in the distance. Evenings were calm and filled with long conversations, sunsets glowing deep orange across the tidal flats. It was one of those places where time seems to pause — a quiet interlude before the next adventure.
