The Münchner Volkssänger Bühne brought Shakespeare’s classic A Midsummer Night’s Dream to life — in true Bavarian style. The production, titled “SommernachtsALBtraum”, offered a witty and musical reinterpretation filled with local humor, dialect, and charm.

The dress rehearsal captured the full energy of the ensemble: colorful medieval costumes, expressive acting, and live music created a vibrant atmosphere on stage. The play featured royal intrigue, mischievous elves, and hilarious misunderstandings — all reimagined through a Bavarian lens.

Behind the scenes, musicians tuned their instruments while the lighting crew perfected every cue. From close-up portraits of actors in character to group scenes full of motion and emotion, every image tells part of the story.

The Münchner Volkssänger Bühne once again showed how tradition and creativity can merge beautifully — celebrating both local culture and timeless theatre art.
