On our third diving day in El Quseir, we focused on El Quadim Bay, a protected, well-structured site ideal for relaxed and controlled dives. Visibility was consistently clear, currents were minimal, and the reef layout allowed for easy orientation along coral blocks and sandy patches.

Key observations today included:

  • mid-water schools of fish in the sandy northern section
  • multiple coral formations with healthy hard and soft corals
  • a pufferfish resting on algae-covered coral structures
  • a bright blue-patterned giant clam in a shallow coral garden
  • various butterflyfish, wrasse and reef residents
  • high-contrast scenes suitable for black-and-white photography
  • several small swim-throughs accessible for experienced divers

Overall, El Quadim Bay again proved to be a versatile site suitable for training, photography and relaxed exploration.
