Our last full scuba diving day in El Quseir, Egypt, took us twice to El Quadim Bay South β morning and afternoon dives in crystal-clear Red Sea water. Afternoon light reveals more coral color, attracts plankton and fish, and makes this site one of the best dive spots in El Quseir.
We explored both dives at the house reef, entering from the jetty and gliding along the southern edge. The afternoon dive offered spectacular visibility and vibrant reef life: pufferfish, moray eels, barracudas, blue-spotted stingrays, goatfish, stonefish, and even a playful clownfish hiding among the anemones.
The corals β both soft and hard β glowed under the warm light, creating stunning contrasts and perfect moments for underwater photography. More sunlight means more plankton, and that brings an explosion of marine life β a natural reminder of how balanced and alive the reef ecosystem is.
Tomorrow, weβll do only a single shallow dive before our flight β following the no-flight-after-diving rule β but today was the perfect finale to a beautiful diving week in El Quseir.
