Khasab, located on the tip of Oman’s Musandam Peninsula, welcomed us with bright light, clear water, and dramatic rocky fjords. We spent the day exploring the coast by traditional dhow boat, passing through the calm blue sea surrounded by steep cliffs. The atmosphere felt timeless — fishermen in small speedboats, traditional wooden ships, and the peaceful rhythm of waves.
We met locals wearing traditional dishdashas, enjoyed Arabic coffee on deck, and watched dolphins playing near the boat. The landscape reminded us of Norway’s fjords, but with the warmth and hospitality of the Arabian Peninsula. A simple, perfect day on the water — where sea and mountains meet in quiet harmony.
