Drone Day – Exploring Patterns from Above

A full day dedicated to drone photography — capturing landscapes, lines, and structures from a new perspective. Using my DJI drone, I focused on geometry, textures, and color contrasts only visible from above.

The day started in the mountains, where winding roads cut through forests painted in autumn tones. From higher altitude, the patterns of trees, rivers, and valleys created natural symmetry. Later, I explored rural areas with stacks of timber, fields, and construction sites, where human-made order met nature’s randomness.

Flying a drone adds a whole new layer to composition — perspective becomes graphic, and familiar places look abstract and new.
