Gozo 2017 – Diving, Friends & Mediterranean Light

Divers exploring an underwater shipwreck surrounded by fish in clear blue ocean water.

June 1–12, 2017

A fantastic trip to Gozo, Malta’s quieter sister island, shared with good friends and filled with unforgettable dives. The island’s rugged landscape, warm light, and golden limestone walls created the perfect backdrop both above and below the surface.

Underwater, the visibility was outstanding — crystal-clear blue, revealing dramatic caves, arches, and wrecks like the P31 patrol boat. The dives ranged from easy shore entries to deeper wreck explorations, always surrounded by the calm rhythm of the Mediterranean.

On land, Gozo showed its character in small villages, narrow alleys, and the timeless texture of its stone buildings. Evenings were slow and simple — sharing stories, checking dive logs, and enjoying local food after days spent exploring underwater worlds.
