Oma Sukan Reef, El Quseir – One of the Red Sea’s Hidden Dive Gems 🐠

We started the day with a relaxed morning dive at the house reef in El Quadim Bay, right in front of the Mövenpick Resort and the Extra Divers dive center. The Red Sea was calm, visibility excellent, and the reef came alive with morning light. Several porcupinefish swam by curiously, and the soft and hard corals glowed in warm shades of yellow, pink, and brown — a perfect, peaceful start to the day.

In the afternoon, we headed out to Oma Sukan, one of El Quseir’s most beautiful and diverse dive sites.

The reef there felt full of life: a graceful moray eel peeking from the coral, a confident triggerfish patrolling its territory, and—our highlight—a clownfish, quite rare here in the Red Sea compared to the Maldives. Finding one made the dive extra special.

A perfect day underwater — a calm start at El Quadim Bay and a colorful, lively finish at Oma Sukan Reef, two unforgettable highlights of diving in El Quseir.
