Our next cruise stop was San Sebastián on La Gomera, one of the smaller and quieter Canary Islands. The landscape immediately stood out — steep green valleys, volcanic rock formations, and small villages built into the hillsides. From the port, we drove inland through winding roads and terraces planted with palms, bananas, and cacti.

The island felt authentic and local. We met craftsmen working in small workshops, tasted homemade goat cheese, palm honey, and local rum, and shared a few shots with friendly islanders. Colorful houses, rustic signs, and bright purple walls added vivid accents to the calm surroundings. From the higher viewpoints, we could even see Mount Teide on Tenerife across the sea.

La Gomera offered a slower rhythm — full of colors, light, and warm encounters. A place that felt genuine, simple, and deeply connected to its roots.
