I had the pleasure of joining the MVB theater group for a special photoshooting session for their upcoming play “Dreizehnerloper” — the Bavarian version of Bertolt Brecht’s classic “Dreigroschenoper”. The shoot was part of the preparations for their flyer and website and took place in a wonderfully creative atmosphere.
The styling was incredible — a full Steampunk theme with detailed costumes, artistic makeup, and that perfect mix of vintage and fantasy. The attention to detail from everyone involved made the photos come alive. Between the corsets, hats, gears, and brass goggles, it felt like stepping straight into another world.
Working with the cast and crew was great fun. There was laughter, music, and that special creative energy you only get when everyone’s passionate about their art. The result? Amazing pictures that capture the unique spirit of this reinterpretation — Bavarian flair meets industrial elegance.
A huge thank you to the MVB team for letting me be part of it. I can’t wait to see the final performance and how these images bring Dreizehnerloper to life on stage.
