Munich Street Photography in Black & White 🖤

Munich in midsummer 🌞 offers endless opportunities for street photography. I spent the day exploring the city center with my Leica M11 Monochrom 📷, focusing on everyday scenes and simple human moments. The streets were busy — people walking, shopping, or enjoying ice cream 🍦, musicians performing near Viktualienmarkt 🎶, cyclists moving through the old streets 🚴‍♂️.

Shooting in black and white helps me concentrate on light, contrast, and composition. Without color, shapes and patterns stand out more clearly, and small gestures or expressions become the main subjects. I looked for scenes that show the daily rhythm of Munich — calm, structured, and always full of motion.

It was a straightforward day of observation and photography — no big events, just the flow of city life captured frame by frame.
