We spent the last week of 2024 on board the AIDA, exploring the Canary Islands and Madeira — a perfect way to celebrate the end of the year and welcome 2025 at sea.
The route took us through sun-drenched islands, volcanic landscapes, and beautiful coastal towns. Each stop had its own charm: Tenerife with its rugged Teide views, Madeira with its lush mountains and famous toboggan rides, and the smaller Canary Islands offering quiet beaches and relaxed local vibes.
Life on board was just as enjoyable — great food, friendly crew, and that special AIDA atmosphere. Spending New Year’s Eve under the stars, surrounded by the Atlantic, felt truly unforgettable.
It was the perfect mix of adventure and relaxation — a journey filled with warm weather, beautiful light, and time to slow down after a busy year.
